蝴蝶住宅是314建筑工作室的新住宅项目，它位于希腊Vouliagmeni，非常靠近大海，由四栋独立的住宅组成，每栋住宅都包括地下室和屋顶平台。

The Butterfly is the new residential project of 314 Architecture Studio, currently being developed by VNK capital. It is located in Vouliagmeni, Greece, very close to the sea, and it consists of four independent residences, with each one including both a basement and a top floor.

由“蝴蝶”的字面意思就可以知道，设计的灵感来自于蝴蝶的形状，蝴蝶的翅膀从物业延伸到花园区域，为底层提供遮阳，为顶层提供观景平台，此外，翅膀弯曲的方式也提供了隐私。

As the name suggests, the design is inspired by the shape of the butterfly, whose wings extend from the properties to the garden area, providing shade for the ground floor and sea view for the top floor. In addition, the wings are bent in a way to provide privacy.

透明度被用作外部和内部之间的结合元素，U型玻璃被广泛使用，取代了实墙，让自然光最大限度地透进室内，同时，玻璃弯折也增加了住户的私密性。

Transparency is used as a bonding element between the exterior and the interior. U-glass is extensively used, replacing or camouflaging the solid walls to allow the maximum natural light to come through. At the same time, this choice of glass distorts movement, adding to the residents' privacy and the space's atmosphere as seen from the outside.

居住氛围的打造来自结构材料的对比，具体来说，U型玻璃的光泽度与墙面、地面和天花板选择的白色水泥灰泥的哑光效果相搭配。此外，摆放在建筑周围的岩石为构图增添了泥土的元素，较大的岩石隐藏了结构元素和储存玻璃板，留下了美感。

Contrasting materials are used to amplify the residents' interaction with the structure. Specifically, the glossiness of the u-glass is paired with the matte effect of the white cement stucco chosen for the walls, floor, and ceiling.  Moreover, the rocks placed around the properties add an earthy element to the composition, with the bigger ones hiding structural elements and storing glass panels, therefore leaving only the aesthetically necessary things in sight.

最后，景观设计配合了设计方案。人工湖泊与蝴蝶的有机造型、u型玻璃和植被相映成趣，营造出一种幽静的感觉。漂浮的小路穿过湖泊和植被，连接底层阳台，以此提供了一条另类的、更接近自然的路线。

Lastly, the landscape is designed to complement the composition. Artificial lakes reflect the butterfly's organic shape, the u-glass, and the vegetation, creating a feeling of seclusion and peace. Floating paths pass over the lakes and vegetation to connect the ground floor balconies, offering in this way an alternative, closer to nature route.
